Steve Eriksson lives with his beautiful family in Gothenburg, Sweden. Steve is a favorite on the music circuit in Scandinavia, performing “Americana”, country and folk style music, most of which he composes. Noted for the melodic quality of his songs, he writes in collaboration with me, Elizabeth Santos, using my lyrics. Steve displays a deep sense of compassion for the tone and sentiment of the lyrics, and translates that into beautiful melodies which are inherently compatible with the words.

In addition to being a recognized song writer, Steve is an accomplished singer, now recording his own songs.  He is also a well-known guitarist with roots in the New York music scene, having played with such noted musicians as:  John Gorka, Rod MacDonald Band (Rod, Mark Dann and Steve), with Lee Saterfield, among others.  He performed in Pete Seegers vessel, "Clearwater," first as a volunteer and then as a member.  You can listen to some of his songs on My Space.

Well known in Scandinavia, this seasoned performer sings with a passion that warms your heart. His newly released album contains many old favorites in addition to some new songs written by Steve Eriksson and Elizabeth Santos. Tord is the creator of the "Softgrass" sound, bluegrass music with a soft touch. He coached and directed the Abalone Dots, a bright and charismatic singing group which has achieved great success and now records with Sony music. He is an accomplished musician in his own right, and a master guitar maker. In addition, he is a superb artist, whose versatile subjects include landscapes which are set in the filtered light of Scandinavian winters.
